Paul Staples is owner and founder of Coast Gemological Resources. Born in Framingham MA, raised in Santa Barbara CA, he now resides in the San Francisco bay area.

Education and Certificates

• 2004 - Certified Gemologist Appraiser (CGA) from the American Gem Society. This has been a certificate I have renewed annually since 1995.
• 1991 - Graduate Gemologist from Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
• 1986 - Bachelor of Science at San Jose State in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
• 1986 - Minor in Geology at San Jose State.
